Hiking The Pacific Northwest

My daughter Sarah Seymour and I hiked in the Pacific Northwest this summer. We hiked and camped in Olympic National Park. This picture is taken at Salmon Cascades in the Sol Duc Valley. The verdant forests glowed bright green. The rivers and waterfalls were clear and beautiful. We greatly enjoyed our time there!

As we hiked, Psalm 34:8, “Taste and see that The Lord is good. Blessed is the one who takes refuge in Him,” came to mind. Spending tranquil and rejuvenating time in the beauty of His creation allows us to taste, see and feel that The Lord is good. His goodness surrounded us in the beauty of the Pacific Northwest.

I would love to hear about special and sacred moments in your life when you have tasted and seen that The Lord is good. Write me here! I look forward to hearing from you!
